In some of the world’s most crowded public spaces, two women will stand still and interrupt the everyday. Dressed in opposite ways, they confront us with two different forms of restriction and raise a simple question: how free are we when we no longer have full control over our own bodies?

Can liberty be killed?

A nighttime intervention imagines the Statue of Liberty disappearing from its own monument. A life-size figure made of blue drones slowly separates from the statue and rises into the sky until nothing remains. The sequence ends with the words “Liberty Is Dead”, turning one of the world’s most recognizable symbols of freedom into an image of absence and questioning what remains when the values a monument represents begin to disappear.

Unwired Valparaíso

Valparaíso is a city shaped by color, architecture, hills, and an endless network of cables. They are so present that they have almost disappeared from our attention. This photographic series digitally removes them to reveal a cleaner, more harmonious, and visually refined version of the city.
